Just random thoughts, let’s have a look to Bolt’s potential. The 19.30 with neg wind was his eigth race !
A good curve could provide a difference of 0.2 to 0.3 with 100m PB. Bolt’s PB at 100m can be as low as 9.60 right now (0.03 saving at RT and 0.06 without celebration). That give a 9.85 curve.
With assisting wind, he can run faster than he 9.34 straight. Should be in lane 9 to avoid the opposite wind at the begging of the race.
He can come out of the curve with a 4.50, so he gets 150m point in 14.35.
To break 19sec, he needs 4.64 in the last 50m. 0.14 difference between the 2 last 50m section is little. Usually, the 19.6-20.0 sprinters have 0.25 difference between the 2. If he can get that difference as low as 0.20 with wind assistance, he can run 19.05. Very close to Charlie’s 19.04 math!

I don’t think he needs such a fast curve to do it. Just a tailwind or at least no wind to help improve the last 100m. He’s already .16 ahead of MJ at 100m.

yeah, in next two years of polishing all Bolt’s segments of the race there can be expected a result in range of 18.9 to 19.60 for shure.
