Interested in hearing about favorite med ball throws, volume and placement in program.
I like to do the following during GPP with a 10 pound ball:
10x Overhead toos
10x Reverse Overhead toss
10x Underhand scoop toss
10x Chest toss
10x Hop then chest toss
I’d like to include some in SPP but am not sure as to placement. Would this fit better on speed days or tempo days? Also not sure about how much of this to do. Should volume be higher in GPP and then less in SPP? And what about in the competitive phase – keep it in once a week or take it out? I’d like to use this type of training to help with starts for me and those I coach.
Interested to hear from anyone who has used this successfully.
