max strength ems

I’m wondering is it ok to use 2 pads per hammy if i have the big rectangle pads 1.5x3.5 or should I use all four per hammy for max strength work?

2 should be fine top and bottom maybe others have thoughts or experience with more??

thanks man, i ordered the wrong ones they are too small (1in) instead of 2in so i have to send them back.

If that’s all you have then that’s all you have for now, though it probably wouldn’t hurt to get different pads so you can use four. Crank up that amplitude and see what happens.

Hamstrings are supposedly very high percentage white fiber so maybe you can get away with this.

They do say the same thing about the glutes though, and I have to use 4 pads per glute…

I’m lost, what are you saying. I have 3 sets of pads two of the three sets i am sending back bc i ordered the wrong size the rectangle ones are bigger and i have used them before but i was curious could i use 2 pads per hammy to try and save time.

I am saying that, ideally, you might want to use 1 machine with 2 leads and 4 pads per hamstring. But if you only have 1 machine, then sure split the 4 pads over both hamstrings- 2 pads per hamstring. If you can turn up the amplitude all the way, then next time you’ll just have to go back to 4 pads per hamstring.

But doing max strength EMS without multiple machines just sucks anyways imo. It takes way too much time. Save up and get more machines if possible.

naw i disagree for my purposes the machine i have does the job, dont see the point in spending 300+ for ems machine, for me each session normally takes 30mins twice a week.

I agree that you have to do what works for you.

If you do everything though (abs, glutes, hamstrings, quads, feet) with 5 minute warmup in pulse mode, etc, I think It would take longer than 30 minutes. And one might argue, that if you’re gonna do it at all, then do it all the way. This would lead to a much longer duration than 30mins I think.

For me, I just don’t bother with it as I know my other training/recovery means are not perfect yet. This stuff is just icing on the cake.

Dont assume my friend, I only do lower back, glut, hammy, 6 sec on 50sec off. The point i was trying to make is the ems treatments dont 2hrs. My abs are done on low int days, quads i dont do bc the treatments make me to sore for my next workouts, i feel like people who have weak feet should do treatments otherwise leave them.

where do u place the pads on the feet if u are to do them there>?

also where do u put the pads for abs??? if u only have four pads??

buy CFTS.!!!

BUY CFTS!!!

i bought it in ebook version like 4 years ago.
but when i had to ghost my laptop i lost it.

im not gunna rebuy it just for that.

You can just Google for an ems pad placement chart. Some EMS unit pad placement charts are incredibly basic and some incredibly complex (see Compex manuals).

lol, its a couple bucks not like the book cost 100 bucks.

haha ive purchased it twice and it wasnt a couple bucks. im not paying another $20 for just pad placement.

mortac, where can i find a site for the feet pad placement

For feet just stand on the pads. Have a pad on your heel and another on the ball of your foot.

the book has more then pad placement my friend, its a great ref guide at all times.
