Maintenance adjustments for competition period

How is everyone ajusting their weights now we are in the competitive season, especially for squats, to find the best compromise between CNS recovery, muscular recovery and allowing for decent maintenance of strength? Options are same weight but with less reps or less movement range, or less weight with same reps etc.

we have a thread called “maintaining” does that help at all? not sure if you accidently passed it by.

I have seen it but I was just wondering which way everyone was going? The maintaining post states several methods. Experience of what has worked would be nice.
