Just curious, have any of you just completely embarassed somebody while you were running?
Like at the end of a 100m race, you just look at somebody with about 10-20 meters left. lol, its like a smack in the face.
I remeber when that happened. It was during practice and we were having races for fun and I was up. I was just glaring at the person who was closest to me and i gave him a little smile.
Unless you’re running sub 10, you prob aren’t burning anybody by that much that’s all that fast. If people talk smack, I have no problem with somebody putting them in their place, but no need to disrespect people giving an honest effort, especially could just as easily be done to yourself.
Doesn’t know what H or FAT stands for, doesn’t know his PR, but guesses that it’s around 10.8. Ok, it’s the internet, why not, I run a 10.1, heck who can disprove that i don’t. Maybe go to the beginners section for a while.
Shittttt. You know how many freshman athletes I had have that do not know their PR’s !!! Ubelieveable. In my opinion if you do not know your PR you’re either Dumb or you suck. I have had over 5 sprinters tell me they do not know their PR. This is usually the case with girls though for some reason. HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW???
On another note… my best sprinter who has run 48.91 in the 400 last year did not know that was his best time when I was going over his goals for the year earlier this year. Nor did he know his indoor 200 PR which is also the school record or his outdoor 200 PR.
Does this only happen in DIII?
I can tell you 90% of the times I ran in every meet for the last 6 years along with the weather and how I felt.
How would that NOT be unsportsman like? You could get DQ’d for that kinda stuff in some major meets. Practice is one thing, but better not get caught up in that at a meet. Let your times do the talking for you.
