Looking at people...

why not have a lil fun. i did the ben johnson one finger in the air last yr- it was pretty funny. i did it bc one of the other sprinters was trying to give me shit.

that’s diff though. if somebody is talking shit then they deserve to be put in their place. if you are just racing somebody who isn’t show boating or being an arse, then it is just disrespectful and unsportsmanlike.

Hey Quik, you the type of guy that overanalyzes everything?

Eg: You’re lying there at night and you keep thinking about the race - “I should have done this” or “Why the hell did I do that?” etc?

You got it. lol
Probably because I am a coach as well as an athlete.

Is it any coincidence that those defending his stance are from Texas? I think not. You guys heard of the Alamo?

I did this a couple of times, but only with ornery (southern word) bastards. I was a 200/400/800 guy, and if I was on a relay or in a crappy meet, and some slacker felt like running his mouth, I would slow down, give him a glare, and smoke his sorry behind.

Typically, it’s in poor taste. But I don’t think this kid had being a jerk on his mind when he did it.

I dunno. I do it and I know a lot of other people that do it.

I’m one of those guys that only sleeps 4hrs a day. I can get about 6hrs on ZMA.
