The sad thing is that proffesors at my faculty in Belgrade, including the stuff at national sport institute are on the level of knowledge from 60’ regarding lactate metabolisam and influence on fatigue But, when I rethink it again, they know less than Hill and Dill from 20’
Ok, no BS: I went to national institute of sport, where the athletes are tested for Vo2max and other “functional” :rolleyes: tests, showed the works of Tim Noakes et al form Br J Sport Med, and they were WTF :eek: …
And just before two-three months I stood up in the amphiteatar when one teacher said that the goal of training for 50m freestyle swimmers is to increase La curve. I stood and said: “Proffesor, the goal of training is in decreasing time over 50m, and La curve can go whenever it wants” :eek:
And now, this same proffesor is screwing me with my seminar work of battery of tests for basketball, hiddingly asking me to include “functional tests” :mad: No way man, no way…
