I remember looking over these results when they were originally posted. I’m just interested in comparing them with some of our rugby players as we’ve been using similar tests but I can find them now. Have you removed the results or is it just the link has broken?
Any index may be created, via the appropriate calculations, for a targeted application.
This particular power index has been accepted in T&F throwing circles for sometime and, as a result, I find it useful for comparing the physical preparation of my athletes to that of elite throwers; if only from the standpoint of their power output via hip/knee extension in the vertical plane.

So how much weight would you give this rating? What are the smaller skill players doing for verts at the NCAA /NFL Level?
