Which one would you want?? My gf said she was going to get me one of them for my bday. Any suggestions???
Im a biased person. I hate Apple with a passion. You know my choice…
That’s a good question. They are both great devices. I don’t think you can go wrong either way. I would be interested to hear opinions myself as I am considering the same move.
from what ive heard…the blackberry bold is better for business whereas the iphone is better for fun and messing around but im neither.
Im not big on tehcnology and could care less about all the applications the Iphone has but i do like its big screen and internet use i heard is good.
But the Bold is supposed to have higher quaility screen and take better pictures and and videos.
the only drawback with the iphone i dont like is the fact that it cant send or recieve pics/videos or so ive heard. Also apparently there is a 4g iphone that will come out some time.
I talked to a couple of guys today - one had a Iphone and he said One small drop and nothing but problems with it since. The other guy said “yep, same with a number of people he knows, One small drop or bump and the iphone is crap”
I have a Nokia E71 - it had a problem right out of the box with its memory card, got that fixed and its been sweet ever since. Fantastic business tool. Good quality photos etc. You can use Google applications such as word and spreadsheets, google maps ie gps, has an excellant calander application, typing is good - heaps better than typing with the old NUMBERS keypads, you can hook it up to the computer as a modem, it searches the net etc by its own with a computer, you can download some cool applications on it.
Its thiner than the Blackberry also.
I have an iphone and put a case over it and beat the shit out of mine and it works great. I had the blackberry curve before getting the iphone and do not see any advantages it could have except maybe being a little easier to type with? Internet sucks on the curve
Iphone hands down. The iphone’s screen is 3x the size of the blackberrys.
Iphone for sure.
But since I have verizon I settled on the Samsung Omnia does all the same things as the iphone plus you can put a 16g external micro card in it. It has window mobile. The external card is the only thing it has over the iphone. I like that I can load up the card with music and movies and pop it into the phone.
If I had a choice I would do the Iphone…
but ive heard that the quality of the iphone screen is not that great…has this not been your experience?
Ange has a Blackberry and I just got an I-phone. That’s a real departure for me cause I’m from the rotary dial telephone era and I literally just sent my first text message this week!
hahahah, i think ive sent like 50 texts just this morning,…but then again i have a problem lol
I was choosing between and iPhone and the iPod touch. Ended up getting the iPod touch for multimedia purposes. I didn’t want to use those functions and have it eat up the battery on my phone. Two separate devices seems to work better for me.
I recently got a Mac. Used PC’s all my computing life. Glad to use the Mac for creative stuff with my kids and video editing. Still use my PC for other functions.
iPhone/iPod touch screen looks good for the videos I’m producing. Very easy to use - no nonsense. I used an Archos 605 before for video. Larger, more bulky. Now my kids use the Archos for mobile movie watching. They beat the hell out of it too and it still works.
I couldn’t ask for more from the Iphone’s display-perhaps 1st generation phones had shoddy displays-but mine is mint.
I have both phones (1st generation Iphone), but sometimes i want to smack my Bold against the wall… The troubles i’ve had (have) with the phone :@
