How should i treat this..

I have made a different thread on this - how can i become more explosive at doing a stepover in soccer. I am starting plyometrics next week as well as sprint work and i have put stepovers into my plyometric routine. Is that a good idea?

Here is a clip on many different types of stepovers to give you an idea on the speed of it, and how i want to be faster generally as well [especially first 5 metres].

I have another question about my sport soccer. Dribbling actions eg stepover etc and kicking actions are explosive therefore place stress on the body. When i am completing plyometrics as well will the added plyometric style or explosive actions such as booting a ball have a negative impact on speedwork and cause overtraining easily?
