The Max effort Deadlift doesn’t even come close to the Clean in terms of hip extension. The pull off the floor in the Clean is supposed to be controlled and then hip extension is the “force” to bring the bar up. Heavy Deadlift ≠ Heavy Clean (though there is the potential)
