Hills warm up

In regards to performing hill sprinting in the GPP phase, what would be a good warm up to perform prior to the workout?

Would one just do strides and drills up the hill say 30m and then perform the main workout or would flat ground be more conducive for the warm up activities stated above and then perform the main portion of the workout on the hill.


I would warm up on flat ground to keep stress off achilles and calves then do 2-4 practice starts on the hill before starting the session. That’s what I have my runners do anyway and it works fine.
