hill length

I do not have the GPP dvd yet I am skint for a little while. How long are the hill runs in GPP? Are they for acceleration or endurance?

This would be for a short to long programme

Vila welcome…roughly 30-40m.they will help with acceleration but most importantly they will teach you how to sprint properly and learn you the proper position to be in.its alot easier to feel this while doing hills rather than trying to get into this position on the flat

Would hills never be used for endurance in GPP?

If you follow an approach similar to this site’s, hills are not used for endurance, but rather for acceleration and initial stages of Speed Endurance. You could use flat grass for an endurance/tempo session.
As soon as you can, buy the GPP DVD; it will really help you!
