Can someone steer me in the direction that will talk about how to program for training for sports? I want something that will help plan out simultaneous speed, agility, weight training, plyometrics, core and fitness at the same time. So when you are working on top end speed what strength training and fitness should or should you not be doing? This type of thing.
Let me give you a little more detail. Here is more of what I am looking for. When you are working on getting faster, do you cut back on tempo runs and do high intensity weights with lower volume. Can you maximize the increase in fitness while maximizing the increase in speed? What kind of strength training should you do if fitness is most important at that time? These types of things that I would really like to learn about.
