Hamstring Curls

What are peoples opinions on actually doing hamstring curls. I have heard som erumours that actually increases your chance for injury

curls are for the Flex of the knee, you could still use it, but nothing too hard.
Mainly you want to be working the hammies as extensors of the hip, exercises like
Roman dead Lifts as an eg.

some of the best ways to train the hamstrings for sprinting are glute/ham raises both manual and bench. glute/ham raises were a staple in the training of Valeri Borzov.
