Anyone know how to do gassers? I heard they are a really good exercise for getting better at sprinting…

They are an oldschool conditioning drill that is done many ways. One is by starting at one goalpost and running around the other and back (essentially just over 200 yards). Also as Ghettoflash said ,Another way I have seen them done is the width of the football field where you start on the sideline and run across to the other side line twice. So it would be down back down back (essentially 220 yards).
They are not a good exercise for “getting better at sprinting”.
They are typically used for football or other team sports conditioning and mental toughness. While I think for the skilled guys they may have they’re place sometimes I do not see it as the only way to accomplish mental toughness and work capacity.
Getting better at sprinting involves training your brain to move your body faster.
When you run gassers, your body gets tired. Your brain cannot teach your body to move faster because your body is too fatigued.
