Full recoveries during GPP

Is it necessary to have full recoveries between sprint reps during the GPP? Or is it sufficient to let the heart rate settle down before performing the next rep?

I ain’t no sprinting genius but I would recovery fully between reps to insure optimum quality of the runs. If it’s really early in the season I think you can get away with shorter recoveries though.

During GPP we usually dont go over 20 meters possibly 30m towards the end. Since we use the rest 1 min for every 10 meters traveled rest 2-3 mins isnt very long however it is full recovery since ATP is prety much replenished during that time.
