Aust record is now 8.18 for 50f 60m. Almost fell at the start.
The surgeon said it would take 18 months to recover from hip’s operations. Can we achieve high 7s in 4 weeks.

Why did the starter keep standing them up??
Two false starts. One of my mates Alan Kay was starter, he has Olympic and Commonwealth games experience. Bill Mackenzie was on the crew and the best starter I know of.
What was the actual problem, though? Was someone twitching? No warning was announed, no athlete took off, nobody was dqed. It was a bit of a mystery to the onlookers at the finish line…
Should have said NSW Masters.
Caught up with Hornblower.
I didn’t ask, Gianna called it as 2 false starts. I think masters runs under the old rules where everyone is entitled to one false start. a couple of the old girls just come a bit early

Zac may miss the Aust Junior Champs, was to train hurdles Sunday but his foot is too sore. Not worth the risk. B**** discus.
All is good.
deleted, time to move along
Try again this Sunday, blocks over 2 or 3 hurdles.
lowered the 60 again in Tassie
I am thinking of explaining my drills here.
As it was explained to me, our dna sets us up as babies to protect ourselves, a baby always falls on its butt when learning to walk.
They taught themselves to crawl, walk and run, as coaches we find programs to try and make them run faster. When I started coaching kids only those who were not up to the level of more experienced coaches were brave enough to try my methods.
Cerebral palsy kids often fall forward. Catherine Proudfoot won a world title and set the record over 100m, simply used her overbalance to get her quicker.
what did she get this time??
8.1 something, Gary rang straight after and told me the time, no need to remember it as it will get quicker. She won by meters.
Spoke to her tonight, 10.17. She has never been a clock runner and she was that far in front she felt she was running on her own.
A couple of drills, pole vault with Ron then a few starts over 20/30 against Seb.
All drills done along a line, the lane line is preferred.
Mongoose; a crawl, elbows unlocked for shock absorption.(you do not run with straight arms)
Head and back at the same height off the ground.
Eyes focused on line and around where the hands and knees will land.
Everything in a straight line
There are two things in life,
Things you can change and things you cant.
Know the difference.
Get the body as long as possible, make the stride length as long as possible.
Slow down.
Every 20m of drill is equivelent to 60m at 70/80%
