Well today I ran my very first outdoor practice…after a long indoor season (almost 5 months)
I felt a bit sluggish but ran alright. I ran two 300’s in 35.3 & 36.57 HT(my PR is 34.92 HT last week indoors). I felt so awful and my lungs were burning.
Is this normal? How long till I feel “sharp” again. Maybe it’s a good sign, still running decently good 300’s and feeling sluggish.
The underlayment of the track takes several weeks of good weather to dry out and become elastic. This is why you feel the initial deadness on this track (Metro) after a long winter.
OH alright, thanks guys. No wonder why the track (Metro) feels like brick! Wish me good luck guys. Going to do well for you guys and keep y’all updated. Because you guys did help me with little things ehre and there that I ahve already applied to my training. (Mechanically)
I have some good competition this year and it will only make me run that much faster:D SO expect good things form me this year…and of course I already expect them from myself FIRST!
