The best standing 30m that I have done is a 4.15 (it was timed at 4.27 but I’m subtracting .12 because my dad was blowing the whistle that acted as the starting gun from 30m away, spartacus style) and the best standing 15m is a 2.43 (2.49 and subtracting .06 this time). For those with knowledge of splits can either be diagnosed as the weaker section or is more information needed?
well to help i know i go 10m in 1.8 20m in 2.9 and 30m in 3.9
unfortunately, i’ve never worked with 15m incriments, so i wouldn’t know how that should break down.
Well, that does help somewhat. From that it seems like the last 30 is a little bit slower, at least compared to how your 15-30 is. But then again its not much so they are probably pretty much on pace, and you might just be faster over 15-30 because of your individual makeup. It does show that neither of my “splits” is wildly off which is good. I think I’ll keep working on both about the same amount unless someone else replies with something to make me reconsider.
Thanks for the reply.
well 4.15/2.43 = 1.71 and 3.9/2.3 = 1.7 (i’m estimating my 15m though, if it where 2.4, that number would be 1.63. Hope that helps a little more
