Few questions about CFTS

I just now started reading CFTS and in the strength training chapter it says something about rear leg extensions… what are these? Are they the same as reverse leg press that it mentions? If not then I’m sure its just an exercise I know by another name but for some reason its not clicking. Also, with the reverse leg press, you pretty much just hook the pulley system to your ankle and drive your knee forward to lift the weight correct? And last… it says that quad development is maintained through 1/2 squats, power cleans, and a small percentage by knee extension exercises. I have never felt my quads working when I do squats other than holding the weight at the top. I’ve been a power lifter for a while and every competition I have people watchin that know a lot more than me about lifting so I figured if I was doing something wrong, somebody would tell me. So…am I doing something wrong since I don’t ever feel quad work from squats?
