FAT: 3-point-start VS. blocks

Hey,

i m doing a 3-point start in training like this:

my front foot(left one) is on a contact plate. If i m leaving the plate the time goes off…

I know it would have been more realistic to set the rear foot on the plate, but now i m doing it since 2 years and dont want to start record lists new…

My question: How much slower am i when starting out of the blocks?

I mean: there is the reaction time+the fact that my very first move is counting for the time(In my 3-pointer i have done sth like "1/2 stride(rear foot), before time goes off).

So what do you think how much will this affect?

My 10m PB with 3-point(my special one :stuck_out_tongue: ) is 1,58sec.

How much will i loose.
Its interesting for me because it could be a reason for my bad 100m time in official comps.
