fall training

i have been doing pretty much gpp work this whole summer which has been bout 14weeks, i talk to my coach this summer bout fall training for me and he told me that 3 days speed and 3 days tempo wouldnt be good bc i would run the risk of peaking too soon… what you guys think?

u should try this:
mon: speed and medball throws
tue: tempo start at 1000 work up to 1400
wed: tempo start at 1200 and work up 2400
thur: speed and test jumps
fri: tempo same as wed
sat and sun off

maybe mid-way u can go to 3days speed
or
start with 3 speeds but have one of the days at the hill.
