As of Saturday mail here, no.

Hello Members,

1- Congrats to all that got in on the pre-order. This deal is now closed.

2- All orders have been shipped. US orders will have a wait time of about 1-1.5 weeks and International (Australia and all others) 2 weeks.

The pre-order came with regular express shipping, when the product is listed on the site you will be able to select your shipping method (we’re waiting on solid rates from our provider).

Happy holidays everyone…

Rupert

Are Canadians going to have the same wait as Americans?

How much would the dvd be to an order to the uk? And is there going to be a region 2 version as my dvd player isn’t multi-regional???

Cheers
RW

Hi Paul,

Canadian’s will start getting their orders this week. As for regional versions, the product shipped in 2 flavours (ntsc and pal).

Hope this helps, thanks for reminding me !

Thanks Rupert, just got it in the mail today. Haven’t had a chance to watch it yet (stupid final exams). But I can’t wait.

Right,
like a brazillian guy,
the only thing that i can do is ? wait…
PaulG did you receive ? Keep us inside
Anxious, anxious

I just got finished watching the DVD, I thought it was very well done. I enjoyed the information about warm up, good info on the proper progression of GPP as well. The weight lifting section is a very nice demo of all the different exercises; I think a lot of beginning athletes will benefit from watching this section (nice job number2). Overall the video was very well done; I’m looking forward to the SPP DVD. If you enjoyed the BC seminar videos I’m sure you’ll enjoy this even more.

All right PaulG
thanks for give me a extra dose of Anxiety

Cannot wait for XMAS to finish, then I can order my DVD!

Got my DVD Today!! My wife bought me a DVD player today for early Christmas! Life gets better all the time!!!

Let us know what you think!

Hi guys
this is the first time I post on this forum.
My DVD arrived yesterday.
It’s basically very well done, I think especially the part in which Charlie explains (actually it is widespread all over the hour of “movie”) how it is important and how to reach a basic level of strength to achieve a good sprinting form.
The section of abs development is pretty good and original, I never thought about this kind of speed.
Also the part of PNF strecthing is in my opinion very original, it’s a sort of dynamic PNF, quite different from the common type of PNF, in which you strecth, contract the muscle for 5-6 secs, relax and then you reach a greater ROM.
med ball work is a lot more intense than I was thinking.
One or two observations:

  • the guy demonstrating the exercises in the gym in my opinion is not “driving into” with the hips during the Oly lifts.
  • It would be clearer with a final table with a general synthesis of the GPP work (for example: Monday - weigths, sprints, ab work Tuesday - tempo, med ball work and so on) with all this amount of info I think it would be a good choice in your next DVD.

Basically, a very good product.

Simone

There are some graphs of potential weekly setups. Start with the graphs that appear after the hill work which show how the intensity of hills vs pure speed work affect the potential selection of weightlifting schemes.

This DVD will be worth the wait. It was very informative plus very well prepared. Honestly much of the information on the DVD is already on this site, but what the DVD does is ties it all together. In addition, there is excellent video segments on properly executed form for not only acceleration & speed mechanics but also form running drills.

Will there be a SPP DVD?

After having seen the DVD another time, I think it is not explained the intensity of hill work. I mean, is it high intensity work (this is my first option) or moderate intensity work?
And another question: is plyometric work (standing jumps, jumps over hurdles, depth jumps etc) done on speed days or on tempo days?
I see plyo-work as a CNS stressful work and so I would put it on speed days but doing so the overall volume on speed days could be too high, but on tempo days you have also all the med ball work with a good amount of plyos (single, double hops).
I believe that in your program you tailor the plyo work with a good degree of elasticity, it’s probably the most variable part (in terms of overall volume and position in the weekly schedule) of your training programs, but I could be wrong.
