7/1 - thursday - Passing League
we played 3 games and we won them all. we played Costa Mesa HS, Villa Park HS and Garden Grove HS. In all of the games nobody caught a pass over me once. i realized that im a very physical corner. basically every play that we were in man-to-man coverage they were stuck on the line cause i jammed them so good. garden grove had this somoan reciever who was very shifty and hes was makin all our corners look silly. so much coach had me cover him and he didnt do shit. jammed every play.

defense

i havent written in here in a while due to me working ALOT lately.

iv been doing random condition and speed training with weight lifting for the past couple weeks.

conditioning - 4 sets of 5 40ys with 10sec rest between 40s and 3 mins betweens sets. im only striding them to condition not to get faster. and runnign alot of reciever routes and catching the ball. i think this is the best conditioning.

speed work - 4x20y, 6x40y done with full rest.

weight lifting - legs 2xweek, pushing movements 2xweek, pulling movements 1xweek

double days start in 1 week. im playing corner for sure this year, not safety. and a little bit of reciever as well. watch out for #24.
