Hello Charlie, my season ends mid June and I will start my fall gpp in Sept which will be your 7 week gpp program. Let’s say I decide to focus on top speed during this time period (summer months) follow by a 2 week active rest period before starting your gpp graphs I am wondering would I lose some of the skills that I gain through the previous block of training by doing all the hill work in the early stages of gpp? I don’t see a problem because it’s no different from a having a season that goes into august then taking several weeks off and starting gpp.
I don’t see big losses and you can see that the GPP provides the opportunitiy to do some technical speed development as you can see on the GPP Download.
