Thanks Quik-is that 185 lbs. for triples? I’m just curious as to how much weight is “sacrificed”, if you will, when an accomplished squatter moves the resistance to the front squat from the back squat position. My guess is the typical elite athlete might be able to front squat 65-75% of what they can back squat. Would love to hear from others on this.
I’d say closer to 65%. Perhaps ppl. with more experience with squatting can comment.
Its probably gonna be different with every person you talk to. But, my guess would be you that you should be near 80% of your back squat max.
