i’ve attempted to get that up and down feeling when i run and i always seem to end up in a pulled muscle. This action seems to not be working for me and it is causing injuries everytime i try it. the last times i attempted to “spring” across the track i pulled my hamstrings. the first time it was my right leg, now its my left. i think all that bouncing action just puts unneeded stress on my leg
Think of the steping over and down as opposed to bouncing- don’t push back.
first of all,run relaxed! when everything falls into place which will happen over a period of time, adjustments and of course relaxation you will have a natural bounce in your sprinting.its natural for the body to do this and its a natural movement to get it back

Can an athlete use stepping over as cue for acceleration or wait till they enter a more upright position?
