block spacing

i need some help with my starts, at the moment i feel very comfortable in the bllocks but im always a step behind at 10m, i have been placing the front block 2 feets length and a little extra from the line, so if i put my front knee down on the ground its about 10cm away from the line, i have been told to move it forward but find it really uncomfortable and hard to hold in the set position.

any advice

Front leg sounds ok and it’s a very individual thing… What about the rear leg? Play with moving your weight from arms to hips -if this is the case- and see how/where you feel more comfortable and take it from there…
