hey i ran a track meet this past Sunday(19th). I ran the 60m the 400m, 200m and the 4x4. And today im sore as crap, ive never been this sore after a track meet befor, it feels like i use to the day after a football game back in high school. whats the deal? im thinking that it could just be a lack of training but ive been running meets and training for like two months, i mean back in high school i never got sore and i use to do five or more events every meet. But it might be that i pr’d in all my events but the 60m… so that might be it. Well guys give me your imput.

Yes i have.
Your just sore because you did something your body wasn’t ready for. Stretch, massage etc until you feel better. There is no easy fix apart from avoid the situation in the future.

true, well i figure wat dont kill me only makes me stronger. But i wont be running that many events since the outdoor is tarting in three weeks.
We don’t know your age and level, but IMHO it is impossible to run a 60, 400, 200 and 400 again in one day at a high level/quality wo destroying yourself.
Simple advice: Don’t do it.
Im 19, and yea i run at a decently high level, mid 10’s, mid 21’s and high 400’s. But i will take your advice on not doing it any more. Thank you for your imput.
