Clemson, you’re a pimp

But, I go back to my theory that drinking does not mean having a good time. I can go to a dance/club and get all kinds of girls w/o drinking or doing drugs.

I stand firm on my position there.

BTW - Soda’s bad for you in-season no matter what. Period. If you’re training stay away from it.

Well in college we go to house/frat parties and bars.
If you are at one of those parties or bars and you are not drinkin then you just dont belong which =zero fun. Im not saying everytime you go out you gotta get tottally trashed but as long as you got a little buzz going your more social and having fun.

while you guys are arguing over alcohol im arguing over classical music

this one the best classical music artist’s in the world. Look who composed much of his work. Go to the music store and find the new guys out there and tell me almost every piece was done by a classical composer such as bach or beethoven.

Society has not improved from this time period and ironically most of these guys were atheist. Go figure. There were after the further development of society and mankind. Every one can make a difference. If you listen to the music bach composed for other, what he spoke about, and what he believed in you can see that he thought he could better the world through classical music…and he did. These people during this time peroid for some reason all believed they could better the world. Look what happened. Bach’s music is amazing. He echo’s the same song. Like you did in 3rd grade music class. He plays them all at once. So complex, so mathmatical. Truelly a genious. No one has toped these guys.

dude lets get waisted tonight…

Quik -

Don’t go to the parties then. Plain and simple. I told you I’m going to stand firm on my statement. Not 100% of college students go out to parties and drink, or even go to bars and drink. Some people go dancing or other things and do not involve drinking at all. I’m not going to budge, so no matter what you say I’m going to have a rebuttal, because you never have to drink, you just choose to do it because that is what you feel you “have” to do…peer pressure?

Tim - Get back on subject. We’re talking alcohol now.

Alright cool…

i got some undercover pics of some forum members at a party…
check it out…they said this one was real kegger at silvio’s house.

oops sorry wrong clip…here it is

My parents never made a big deal of alcohol/tobacco when I was young and I tried a bit of both when I was around 5 years old.

Alcohol was the most vile bitter fluid I ever tasted, and the cigarette tasted like a mouthful of ashes. Since then, I’ve never wanted either substance. I can’t even go near people while they smoke, when I was on holiday in Vegas I tried to spend as much time outdoors as possible (since every casino and hotel corridor was full of cigarette fumes).

I still sometimes try a sip of alcohol when I’m at a party, but I still can’t get used to it and I don’t see any point in trying. I’m pretty confident around other people anyway and I don’t really believe I need to ‘loosen up’ more to have a good time.

End rant.

The point is, you should all try to get your kids on alcohol/tobacco as early as possible in their lives and they’ll never go near the stuff ever again.

If those guy’s in picture number 1 are cool then I don’t want to be cool.

agreed.

. . . . . … . … .

Its almost like we dont belong here

400stud,
Come on man. i aint trying to get you to drink nor do i care the slightest bit what you consider fun. My post was not even directed towards you. I was just stating what goes on in college. And when you get there you will see.
Honestly if your not downtown at the bars or praties theres nuting else worth doing. Period. im dont speaking abotu this.

clemson i thought you were a computer nerd!

I know what goes on in college. I live 2hrs away from one of the biggest party schools in the US. I just don’t agree with alcohol being a stimulant for fun, that’s all. I’m not ragging on you and I’m sorry for getting personal in my response, I’m just passionate about this subject. My dad used to be an alcoholic and my mom smokes a lot so it is my goal in life to stay away from both at all costs because I see what it does to people.

IE - The constant beatings by my dad when I was younger for small stuff.

So, trust me, there are other things to do that are less dangerous and that don’t hurt people as much. Look at the long-term effects.

Sorry, got a little carried away…
