Ankle Weights

I have those donut shaped ankle weights, but not sure when to use them. During sprinting they constantly are moving which distracts my running, yet I see no point in using them for tempo runs.

What else could I use them with?

also a coach of mine in college was training with ankle weights for football and a guy he knew came to the track to workout and seen him using them. the guy asked my coach if those work and my coach said he felt faster. well the guy challened him to a race and since my coach thought he felt so fast he wound up tearing his hamstring.

They work pretty good as paperweights :slight_smile:

As far as training…I can’t think of any uses for them!
