Maybe it’s me… but sometimes when i see edwards sprinting, it’s like seeing a robot running.

Perhaps. What I see is the product of discipline in training resulting with negligible errors through each phase.

Along the same lines: I see domination.

what does everyone think of wayne davis’s 13.18 110H? i think he’s only 15!

He’s a beast! But William Wynne is also great… 13.39 in 110mH and 49.01 in 400mH.

Crawford looks terible on all the pics above - and his times do, too.
It’s a shame, I thought he had a lot of talent, to watch it being wasted.

I wish this was a pic of the US champs final :frowning:

I love Sanya…is that my other wife Natasha Hastings?
Dee Dee Trotter…she is a dilemna. SHe runs so many 200s’ and says she is constantly working on her speed but it never translates to the 400. I know she has a recent victory under her belt but how often is that?

Regarding Trotter - would she benefit with an improved arm carraige? She applies a kicker this way, but wonder if there is some limiting effect with it.

I think everyone is on to D.D. THere is no element of surprise in her races. She starts her signature kick at about the 300m mark. I agree that her excessive arm and head movement causes more twist than anything else.

With Smith-Gilbert off to Florida with a larger role, wonder if Trotter will apply some changes as well. I was informed that there may be, however the reliability of source is dubious.

Thanks PJ! That’s good news for her, I guess. It seems to be coming nicely for the beginning of August. Who else is under Caristan?

Is the element of surprise really necessary?

Actually I don’t think that anyone is “onto DeeDee” because she hasn’t figured it out herself. I watched her race at Indy and the one at Paris and they were a complete contrast. One her day she’s as good as anyone in the world.

I think the problem here is that she is on her own in Europe without Caryl there to crack the whip so to speak.

As for her case of the wobblies, it tisn’t nearly so evident in her best races. Go figure.

Since Caryl is about to give birth I can see some alot of potential changes. Whether or not ti’s a good idea to mess with success going into an Olympic year is another question entirely.
