I have a couple of question regarding the use of accelerations in the s to l progression. FYI i am a swimming coach and have little exp with track.
Are these sort of like build ups to the intensity limit (ie 30m)? Or are you coming out of the starting position or block and trying to go as fast as possible over 30m?
Also, If the athlete is performing an event over the time of 27 sec (50m freestyle) how would the s-l progression be adjusted to this longer event time.
