Week-25 Tuesday
Workout: 10 min warmup, drills, light stretches, 5x65m@95% (effort, not time), 10 min cooldown, cold shower

I wanted to get in some block today, but I couldn’t get to them. Our coach has given each of us 4x4 runners batons to carry around 24/7. The 65’s themselves were pretty refreshing. I was amazed how tiring 325m all out sprinting really is. I didn’t have a watch on the recovery but it was plenty generous.

Week-25 Thursday
Workout: I played again about 25 minutes of b-bal, this time, though, I hustled a lot more and was sweating pretty good before I stopped. sigh I hope this don’t affect me. I got a bit of tightness in my calves and hammies :frowning:

could always use the seran-wrap with icy hot on the tight areas trick… Never used it before, but have read from memebers here it has great results. Might be too late if you are already asleep though… Good luck tomorrow man, I dunno if I am gonna be at the meet but either way, blaze that first leg for us.

I’d just like to thank everyone for all of their support and feedback during this track season. This whole spring season has just been an incredible learning experience for me. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, one monumental apiphany, it’d have to be work. Hard work is the only answer. There are no shortcuts to greatness, only work, and lots of it.

Specifically I’d like to say thanks to my buddies, John C-S, Joesdad, Mister C, WRCortese. You’ve all gone out of your way to help me again and again.

EDIT: What the heck? I already did one of these thingey-majiggers a week ago!! sigh

Hmm… time to start my XC journal then, Muhahah!

No problemo Palmtag, that’s what the journal is here for, so we can help you out. Great job on making it to state, and maybe - if i get my act together - I’ll see you there in 2006…

Oh yeah, and what is this blaphemous “XC journal” you speak of? :stuck_out_tongue:
