Start list says De Grasse is with The Speed AC… does that mean he has moved away from ALTIS?
Was posted weeks ago - he’s gone from Altis.
Neither De Grasse nor ALTIS are ready to fully admit it: https://www.cbc.ca/sports/olympics/trackandfield/stu-mcmillan-andre-de-grasse-reaction-1.4730395
Yeah, but that was just speculation not fact as it was also posted Ahmeer Webb had left too but in a newsletter I got from ALTIS they said they are both still there.

Poor guy, It just gets worse for him.
“I thought he battled really well in the 100 final, and he put a lot of effort into that, and I think the velocity that he put his body through obviously affected what was going on today,” McMillan said. “He almost certainly hadn’t ran that fast in a long time. That’s a pretty significant load on your system.”
A big part of the problem then. Not enough work near race pace in training.
He missed the Worlds last year so presumably he has not run sufficiently fast since whenever he was fully fit before that time. ie more than a year ago. Either he has not recovered properly from his injury to be able to put in the training or his programme does not address enough speed work.
Tsk tsk. Will puma let him pick his own coach now?
amazing of fast lyles closed.
and prescott
The best part is that the top guys are actually racing each other! None of that ducking crap. That’s how you get better!
Some interesting results here with Gatlin, Carter and Powell running. Could it be the beginning of the end???

Rodgers is having a great season so far. Gatlin’s training changed significantly moving from Mitchell to Johnson though he’s apparently also coached by a guy who works with Johnson-I think he might be Bahamian.
He’s doing much more special endurance and speed endurance from what I was told which is odd considering his move away from 200m and despite an article that came out stating they were doing the same workouts JG did in 2015.
I agree, Rogers is having a stellar season. On paper it looks like Gatlins change in training routine is not working for him yet…this may change with time. Asafa…so far it’s not looking great for him either…would be great for him to get 100 sub 10sec 100s. I think he’s on something like 97.
regarding asafa: was there not an article from june/early july indicating hes out for the season with a recurring groin injury(maybe back in feb it was groin then in march it was hammstring, and now its groin again in mid/end of june, then full on groin in early july?
Gatlin is too old to be switching coaches. SHouldve stayed with mitchell. THey already boo him sooooo leaving Dennis will not help…and so far its hindered.
I doubt he’d have held onto his sponsors had he stayed with Mitchell given his own history.
