hi guys, ive had 3 competitions so far this season where ive run both 100m and 200m. for some reason my 100m time has been the same in all 3 comps (11.6, 11.6, 11.65) but my 200m has dropped a signifiquent amount 24.1 to 23.8 to 23.60. i relise the first 2 comps were hand timed so possible they may not be accurate but just wondering if this pattern is normal at this point in the season?
Well then the first 2 competitions being electric would have been 11.9. So your time has dropped.
increase fitness levels has a bigger impact on the 200m.
wud dat mean my 200m time wud of been around 24.4 , 24.1, and 23.60? is that normal for that much of drop in 3 weeks? (a race each week). cud
cudnt the hand timed races of been slower also ? as yesterday they done hand timing and electric timing and HT me at 11.7 when i ran 11.65 so they first 2 100m races so whos to say they were actually 11.9
this week we done tuesday change of pace over 80m and thurs blocks. and the 2 weeks before we done tuesday speed endurance 150 and 120’s and thursday blocks with the race on the saturday. do you think this could have affected my fitness?
