I found this to be one of the benefits of running on grass too. It’s obviously softer and has imperfections and bobbles in the surface, no matter how perfectly manicured the field. This forces you to relax and just go with it, otherwise you will lock up if you fight the ground. The grass forces you to run relaxed. When I go back to the track surface, the relaxation is built in and it feels like I’m floating.
