That is certainly my definition of a 1/2 squat.
Full squat = ass to grass.

Which do class as 1/2 squat?
When your knees are at right angle your thighs are a fair way off parallel.
Richard,
1/2 squat = thighs parallel.

Would that then make 1/4 squats as knees at right angle
i try not to think of it as angles…my parallel squat has my knees always less than 90°. i just descend until the top of my thigh is parallel to the ground, if im doing those kind.
Richard,
When squatting, I tend not to think of the angle at my knees, but, more the angle between my thighs and the ground.
Full squat = ass to grass (cannot go any furthe down)
1/2 squat = thighs at parallel to ground
1/4 squat = thighs will be at 45 (from standing)
standing = no squat.
Hope that made a little sense.

1/2 squat = 90° (rear view of the knee)
1/4 squat= 45°…
When the thighs are parallel to floor we have parallel squat

That is what I originally thought, and I know of others who state this.
What does Charlie refer his 1/2 squats as?
I think he said Ben did past paralell by a few inches.
