Will the REAL DB Hammer please stand up!

Recently, there has been much speculation by CT and others about the real identity of DB Hammer. I found this quite suspicious and after some in-depth investigation, I have determined the TRUTH!

DB Hammer is actually Christian Thibaudeau. The FACTS are indisputable:

FACT 1: CT and DB doesn’t that sound similar? Notice how the initials rhyme! Coincidence??? I think not!

FACT 2: If you rearrange the letters of ‘Christian Thibaudeau’ (and add a couple of 'm’s), you can spell DB HAMMER!

FACT 3: The word Thibaudeau is composed of the roots ‘th’ and ‘ibaudeau’. In the lower southwest province of Mongolia, there is a Mandarin dialect spoken. In this langauge, ‘th’ means ‘German’ while ‘ibaudeau’ means ‘Hammer thrower’. Put this together and you get German Hammer Thrower! (Actually, I totally made this one up, but I had you going, didn’t I?)

FACT 5: Their training methods, while sharing some similarities, are substantially different. I know you may think that this would indicate that they are different people, but think about it. If you are trying to convince someone that you are two different people, you would want to provide them with different information depending on who you were in order to throw them off track. Therefore, since they provide different information and use different terms, they must be the same person!

FACT 9: CT was one of the first ones to try to link DB with someone else. I believe this is a proactive measure to point the finger at someone else so that they don’t examine him too closely. Sorry CT, we weren’t fooled…the gig is up!

FACT 12: And this is the icing on the cake…both CT and DB come from a FOREIGN COUNTRY (at least for those of us in the US  This is too big of a similarity to be chalked up to random chance.

So there you go, 12 (count them!) Twelve indisputable FACTS that link DB and CT. I know, the evidence is overwhelming, so you can stop pretending CT! BTW, I have already contacted Oliver Stone and he has expressed interest in the movie rights to this story. I expect a major cinema release sometime next fall.

[BTW, for the humor impaired, please understand that I’m only messing around here. CT, I hope no offense is taken!]

Isn’t CT’s nickname Da Beast as in “DB”??? chalk that up as fact number 13!!! oh crap 13 like jesus and the apostles… I see a CONSPIRACY!!!

Perhaps Chris-T would like to clarify this??

awww c’mon rupert it’s all in good fun, not necessarily clean but still fun. c’mon in and have a laugh!!!

Good one Xlr8 …

Fact 9 has convinced me you’re right … he knew the CF forum would figure it out soon enough and he went on the offensive saying JS and DB were one … but we’re all far smarter than that!!

Oh yeh and Xlr8 … you’re one brave man
If he comes for you you’re on your own!!!

I remember once I lost a 3 month training program. A program I literally assembled in about 5 minutes. After recalling the whole program from my head I penciled it back down on paper. I then found the lost program to my suprise did not have one error between the one I had just written. Every day exactly the same. Every total the exact same. Not one mistake in 3 months of training. Not even on the drills. Not one meter off the totals. I sat there amazed. When I realized what I had done it was the first time I thought maybe I could coach. What an empowering feeling. It was a program I built off of hearsay. Literally I would ask my nigerian friend on phone conversation maybe one question per call. He didnt realize I was piecing together my first training program which would result in a pr every meet. I had never read any charlie francis books at that point. I had never taken any exercise science classes or had never attended any usatf meetings. No one had ever sat me down and explained anything. I was innocent to the sport of track and field and to the sport of life. What I wouldnt do to go back to that time. Anways Im getting off the subject. It was funny to me that ct had already bought dbs book just as the hype started. And rupert had a valid point also.

He’s got to catch me first

He may not be as fast but I have this mental image of a Thibinator hunting you down

CT’s been doing those 400m runs. I think that’s the mark he’d catch you at
