Who will win the men's 100 in England tomorrow?

Any predictions regarding who will win
the men’s 100 meters in England tomorrow? The field is very strong with
Montgomery, Chambers, Collins, Gatlin,
Williams and more. Whoever wins
tomorrow will have a huge phycological
edge going into the worlds. I think that
Dwain Chambers will finally assert himself as the top
contender for the gold medal
in Paris. I predict Dwain will win
in a time of 9.95. Any other predictions?

It is all for real now, so close to the WCs. If they are ready for Paris, they will be close to top form now.

I hope Chamber wins. His 6.41 duing the 99 WCs showed he had excellent speed, the key ingedient, and the potential to run much faster once he learned to hold form. He reminds me of Surin who was always up there at 60m, and eventually got it right to become one of the few men to run under 9.90 when it counts.

Any idea on Dwains weight now?

Justin Gatlin will win!

This is England don’t forget. Option one- fast gun with the Brits taking off with it. Option two- a recall after the Americans et al have run 80m. Which will it be?

ooohh contraversial :stuck_out_tongue:

That would be funny as hell…

no23:

Tim is weighing about 150 lbs, down from 160 in 2001. Dwain is weighing about 205 lbs at this time. Dwain weighed about 215 during the final in Edmonton in 2001. So, Dwain’s weight is down
about 10 lbs from then.

Thanks 716.
Interesting numbers …
It just goes to show you can’t judge weight changes easily from pictures or film at all really… I would have got Dwains figures all wrong.
