WHO advises no restriction of regular travel or closure of borders. It is considered prudent for people who are ill to delay international travel and for people developing symptoms following international travel to seek medical attention, in line with guidance from national authorities.
There is also no risk of infection from this virus from consumption of well-cooked pork and pork products. Individuals are advised to wash hands thoroughly with soap and water on a regular basis and should seek medical attention if they develop any symptoms of influenza-like illness.
looks like another blown out of proportion media thing.
i live in canada and if 6 ppl on my street got it… the chance of me getting it is… well… veryy low. now 6 ppl in the whole nation… lol
I wouldn’t comment at this point. No one knows where this is going or how it will mutate so a hell of a lot of health officials are worried because this is a new variant and no-one has any immunity.
If they cancel football in Texas, you’ll know they’re serious.
There’s a breaking story that a member of the security advance team for President Obama’s recent trip to Mexico is suspected of having contracted the swine flu, a senior White House official says --from Washington Post email
there’s 4 people infected with it in my region… and 400000 in my region at the very least although im certain the infected people arent even in that population because im only talking about the 4 main cities (beside toronto). So chance of getting it… 1 in 500000? lmfao
Latest news was the “killer virus” is sooooo dangerous because most cases im Mexico are such mild forms of flu, so people don’t even notice and get better without much fever within a few days. I love our media!
LOL
