What's Your Resting Heart Rate?

???

this morning, 55
and blood pressure was
142
72

feeling dehydrated this morining, time for some liquid.

In the 40’s

Remeber once in hospital the Doctor brining all these student Docs round to see how low the pulse could fall on someone.

They thought there was somehting wrong with me … that was until I told them Migual Indurains would fall to 25 bpm resting.

(I guess the fact I was in Hospial was a bit of a give away too)

Mine has always been in the 40’s too. I’m guessing the tempo runs help keep the resting heart rate down? maybe genetics too?? 25 is pretty insane though. I thought Lance Armstrong’s 32 was pretty ridiculous.

dude, i heard on an interview, i think on 20/20, lance said his resting HR was like 120???

Seb Coe had a 25bpm too, if he went to hospital he would have had a pacemaker fitted!

when i was just in the hospital recently, a few of the nurses asked me if i was really athletic cause i had a low/consistant resting hr…but mine was at like 60bpm…seems like most others are lower though?

if i recall from my bio lab, most average resting hr’s were 1.25x1min(60sec) = 75bpm. but then again, you have to take into account, age, weight, activity, etc…

About 51.

Lowest consistent morning hr was 43.

How in the world are yalls resting heart rate so low??? I just checked mine and I was beating at 15 beats per 10 seconds… thats 90bpm

I dont get it… how do yall keep it so low, is it the way yall train?

Around 45 last time it was taken.

i would venture to guess that a 5/10k guy would test out lower.

edit: 57

I would say so…do you ever know how the whole story goes dude?
Whatever you are training for…do a search in this forum for “general fitness” and act consequently!
If you are not training with a peculiar target inmind,or not training at all, justdo it for your health and wellness…

Between 45 - 50 the last few times that I checked in the morning.

At my physical yesterday consistent reading of 52. Never checked when I woke up.
