Is it worth going to?
And can somebody explain to me the credit system? What is the difference between NATABOC credits, NASM CEU’s, NSCA CEU’s…?
NATA is the National Athletic Trainers Association, NASM is the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and NSCA is National Strength & Conditioning Association. In order to maintain your membership and certification, you must complete a certain amount of continuing education each year or two years. CEU’s means continuing education units. The conference sounds okay but I’m not sure how applicable it will be unless you are an athletic trainer, or unless you plan on becoming one. I leave the therapeutic and rehab side to those who are better qualified to do it, my interest is performance.
