I have found both to be very useful. I use TwinLab Tribulus and Met Rx CLA. i Take 1250mg of Tribulus a day with my main evening meal and the CLA i take 3 times a day with meals…Just started on the CLA so i’ll keep u informed with any developements and the Tribulus I finds makes me feel super coughs horny!

A lot of the stuff I take (fish oil, coq10, celery seed extract, larger dosages of vitamin C) is because of my family history of blood pressure issues. I was actually recommended to take these supplements by my family physician (along with cardiovascular exercise).
The only ones I take for I guess ergo aids is the recovery agents (glutamine (even for the poor bioavailability, probably will stop taking this once gone), pwo blend, zma, ice, casein blend (clemon’s cocktail if you will)) and the brain mixture (which is rather simplistic)
If you have an extensive supplementation profile, make sure you have reasoning for it. Don’t just take it because someone else is. Now if your taking things like ethyl super biokinase ultra-absorption creatine peptides, then you should take a look at what your doing.

With regards to my post earlier, i was wondering if the lab rats here could suggest the doses of the below that I should be taking. This is something that has always confused me. Should I stick to the ‘recommended intake’ or is this value one that is only relevant to a ‘normal Joe’ and not a full time athlete? The supplements in question are:
L-Argine: 500mg per cap. Recommended dose is 1 cap on a empty stomach before bed. I take 1 cap
L-Carnitine: 500mg per cap. Rec. dose is 1-2 caps. I take 2 caps.
CLA: 1000mg per cap. Rec. dose is 1-2 caps 3 times with meals. I take 2 caps.
Tribulus: 625mg per cap. Rec. dose is 1-2 caps daily. I take 2-3 caps.
Charlie, others any views or suggestions on dosages of the above?

I never used to…but now i take 3-5g once a day everyday (No loading).
All I’m taking is 2 x Multi in the morning, 2-3 L-Glut during the day (3 x if I’m feeling a bit rundown. I judge this on a day to day basis), and a Magnesium cap at night.
Lots and lots of great, healthy food!

i felt like i was almost losing control of my body at times. i was on so many different things and often would start something else without phasing out anything. i had been using various stimulants (lots) pre workout everyday for a long time aswell as my whole food diet had slowly fallen off and gotten junkier and junkier. i felt like i needed to get back to zero, clean out the system and give my adrenal glands (amoung other systems) a break.
since this as deep an offseason as i have had for years (not currently training for any particular event or sport) i thought id do something drastic. while i was at my store (we closed april 15th) i had many athletes ask me about clenses and d-toxs and i always recomended the wild rose detox. here is a link wild rose de tox but never had a time to do it myself.
after i am done, i might fire up a thread to update you all on the procsess and outcome, but im off to work and dont have a ton of time.

Nightmare4d, You of all people know that at minimum you should be taking a multi-vit and some vit-C. Anyways, you should drop me a line sommetime. Have a good one.
