vit C and sleep

When supplementing with vitC (ascorbic acid) , 3 or 2 g every night, i sleep very “deep”. The day after,even if i feel like i rested very well, i have some difficulties to wake up from the bed (like i enojyed to much that night).
So anybody has experienced same feedbacks ?

A little C before sleep does help recovery, I’ve found. 500 mg is good. More than that and it tends to keep me awake.

I had the same problem with ZMA. It put me into too deep a sleep.
