I don’t know what you are trying to imply, but if you want to believe that guys are somehow running submaximal 60s en route to their best 100s, that’s on you.

That’s not what I’m implying; I can’t speak for anyone else, but the 60m WR is extremely soft due to some of the reasons speedfreak mentioned.
