Uncooked cornstarch (maintaining blood glucose levels)

I read that uncooked cornstarch is the only substance clinically proven to prevent low blood glucose througout the night and to reduce high blood glucose in the morning. Apparently, it has a 8 hour conversion to glucose. Has anyone used this maintain blood sugar levels.

There has been quite a few products advertising it - especially protein bars. Been awhile since I’ve looked into this, but it does warrant some benefits for sure. Cottage Cheese + Uncooked cornstarch @ night ? Sounds tasty. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m trying out Extend bars. They have 5 g of uncooked cornstarch and some other low gi carbs. I’m using it as late night snack to prevent low blood sugar in the morning. We’ll see how it goes.
