The former Olympic hurdles champion Fani Halkia has been suspended two years for doping, Greek sports officials said Thursday. Halkia, who was the 400-meter hurdles gold medalist at Athens in 2004, was expelled from the Beijing Games this year after testing positive for the steroid methyltrienolone. Halkia has denied wrongdoing. In all, 15 Greek athletes were found to have taken methyltrienolone before the Games.
