Transvestite To Be Stripped Of Medals (and Women's Clothing Too, No Doubt)

Transvestite athlete exposed in Zim

A prize-winning track athlete who competed in women’s events was actually a man, a court in Zimbabwe has been told.
Samukaliso Sithole, who competed in domestic and regional competitions, faced charges of crimen injuria, or psychological offense, in the second city of Bulawayo, the state-run Herald newspaper reported on Wednesday.

Prosecutors alleged Sithole offended the dignity and sexuality of a woman who befriended him, confided in him and felt comfortable being naked around him, all the while believing him to a woman, the newspaper said.

Sithole was identified as a man to the complainant by an acquaintance, as he and a group of women were preparing to travel by train to a track meet in Bulawayo, the court heard on Tuesday.

Sithole tried to sprint away from the train station but was caught. Police then supervised a medical examination.

Sithole told the court he was born congenitally deformed. A tribal healer, known in the West as a witchdoctor, gave him “female status” but the spell didn’t work properly because his family didn’t pay the healer’s full fee, Sithole said.

He will reappear in court on March 3 and faces a fine if convicted.

The Herald said the National Athletics Association of Zimbabwe was investigating the case and Sithole would likely be stripped of his titles and prize money.

Sithole competed in women’s triple jump, javelin, shot-put and running events, and brought home Zimbabwe’s only gold medal from the Southern Region Athletics Championships in neighbouring Botswana last June.

A Transvestite stripped? Now there’s something I don’t need to see. (Even though I like Eddie Murphy movies)

thought you’d like that  - the phrase that is :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey if you can’t beat men, might as well try to beat the women! LOL

I don’t condone what he did but its kinda funny!
Also coming from Zimbabwe what other career choices are there?

A solution maybe to create a 3rd gender group, i guarentee media attention on these competitions

I don’t understand all the fuss about it - the guy from Mozambique is competing for years in the women’s 800m and wins all the races.

Hey! I’ve seen you! Don’t even think about it!

Hope (s)he doesn’t read this forum - Ouch!

O.K. Maybe not the female events but what about the paraolympics! One of my teachers in grade 4 called me a stupid, stupid little boy, while a different teacher in grade 5 gave me an award for asking a million questions! Besides I’ve been in two car accidents with blows to my head and eight years ago I had a spotter who didn’t hook the smith machine bar onto the latches when I did a 275lb Military press so the wt came crashing down on my forehead but luckily I kept my hands on the bar and racked it up on the latches myself! I’ve never once received a concussion or have been knocked out.  Besides all of the athletes I’ve worked with always tell me that I shouldn’t lie about running a 4.21 40yard dash or a 7.12 60meter time but at least they say I am entertaining!

BTW My fellow athletes and coach on my baseball team would always ask why I warmed-up for 30min before gametime (Can you guess who the injured ones were)!
